Capita plc Announces CFO Transition

Capita has announced that Tim Weller, its Chief Financial Officer, will retire in August 2024, following a distinguished tenure since joining the company in May 2021. Weller has played a pivotal role in supporting both former Chief Executive Jon Lewis and current Chief Executive Adolfo Hernandez through significant organizational changes. His leadership has been crucial during this transformative period. He will continue to support the company through its Capital Markets Event in June 2024 and its interim results in August 2024.

Following a comprehensive search process, Capita has appointed Pablo Andres, the current CFO of Ventient Energy S.à r.l., to succeed Weller. Andres joined Capita on July 15, 2024. David Lowden, Chairman of the Board, praised Weller for his dedicated service and expressed confidence in Andres' ability to drive change and deliver cost savings. Andres brings extensive experience as a senior finance executive across various sectors and is well-equipped to support Hernandez in executing Capita's strategic evolution. Andres is enthusiastic about his new role and aims to leverage Capita's opportunities for growth through simplification, efficiencies, and technology enablement.
