Cerebras Systems, a leader in generative AI acceleration, has named Bob Komin as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Komin brings more than 30 years of financial leadership experience at high-growth technology companies, including serving as CFO of Sunrun, Flurry, and Tellme Networks. His track record of leading successful IPOs and navigating acquisitions will be invaluable as Cerebras continues its rapid growth in the AI industry. CEO and Co-Founder Andrew Feldman highlighted the importance of these appointments, emphasizing their roles in advancing Cerebras' mission to accelerate AI development globally.
Cerebras has also appointed Glenda Dorchak and Paul Auvil as new independent Board members. Dorchak, who has previously served as an executive at IBM, Intel, and Spansion, brings more than thirty years of operational leadership experience in the technology sector. Auvil, with over 35 years of experience, recently served as CFO of Proofpoint and has held key financial positions at VMware and Vitria Technology. Auvil will chair the Audit Committee, while Dorchak will lead the Compensation Committee, adding significant governance and technology expertise to the Cerebras Board.
