Well-known international financial technology company, MoneyGram International, has appointed Gary W. Ferrera as its new Chief Financial Officer, effective June 10, 2024. Ferrera brings nearly two decades of extensive financial leadership, most notably from his previous roles as CFO of Driven Brands, Skillsoft, and Cardtronics. His experience spans the fintech and technology sectors, making him well-suited to oversee finance, accounting, tax, and treasury functions at MoneyGram. Ferrera will report directly to Alex Holmes, MoneyGram's Chairman and CEO, and will contribute directly to the Executive Leadership Team.
Ferrera's appointment follows the retirement of Larry Angelilli. Holmes expressed confidence in Ferrera, highlighting his dynamic leadership style and global financial expertise.
