Pixie Dust Technologies, a prominent Japanese technology company renowned for its focus on innovative products and materials utilizing proprietary wave control technology, announced the appointment of Nobuhiro Takagi and Nobufusa Tarumi as co-Chief Financial Officers (co-CFOs), effective since March 13, 2024.
Takagi and Tarumi have succeeded Mr. Mamoru Miwa, the former Chief Accounting Officer (CAO) of the company. Takagi, who previously held the role of CAO, will transition into the co-CFO position alongside Tarumi.
Takagi brings a wealth of financial expertise to his new role, having served as the CAO of Pixie Dust Technologies since November 2023. Prior to joining the company, he held a notable position as an audit manager at KPMG AZSA LLC, Tokyo, from July 2017 to September 2020. He is an alumnus of Keio University, Tokyo, having graduated in March 2003.
On the other hand, Tarumi, the Treasury Manager for Pixie Dust Technologies since September 2023, boasts nearly two decades of experience in equity capital markets. His extensive background includes roles within the Equity Capital Market Department at SBI SECURITIES Co., Ltd. and Mizuho Securities Co., Ltd. since 2004. He is a graduate of the University of Tokyo, Tokyo, having completed his studies in March 2002.
CEO Yoichi Ochiai expressed his satisfaction with the appointments, emphasizing the importance of their combined experience in finance and equity markets in driving the company's growth initiatives.
